CCSS, a System i independent software vendor known for its QSystem Management Suite of monitoring and messaging software, has expanded and moved its North American office in Raleigh, North Carolina. The CCSS QSystem Management Suite includes: QSystem Monitor, QMessage Monitor, and QRemote Control. According to CCSS managing director Ray Wright, the move underscores the importance of the North American market in the company’s growth plan. “There is no question that the North American installed base of System i is the largest, and CCSS foresees many opportunities,” Wright noted in press release last week. Based on market trends that CCSS has taken note of, the North American iSeries shops have increased their awareness of monitoring and messaging benefits. In addition to purchasing an office, the company is also relocating product manager Paul Ratchford from the United Kingdom. Ratchford expects more face-to-face meetings with customers as a result of his move to the United States, which also creates the opportunity to observe CCSS products at work in specific customer environments. He also sees advantages in being closer to Rochester, Minnesota and the System i team. CCSS is an IBM Advanced Level Business Partner in Development and member of the Solution Development group. All CCSS solutions are certified by IBM as Server Proven and qualify for IBM’s ServerProven rebate program. The headquarters for the company are located in Gillingham, Kent, England, and, in addition to the North Carolina offices, CCSS also has a regional offices in Bonn, Germany. |
