DataMirror Expands into New Digs and Operations in Europe

High availability and data transformation software maker DataMirror said last week that it is going to put some feet on the street in two countries in Europe to help it expand its business. DataMirror said that it would be opening offices in the Italian cities of Milan and Rome and would also open an office in Amsterdam in the Netherlands. Milan is the industrial center of Italy, and Rome is its business center and capitol, while Amsterdam is the industrial, business, and governmental capitol of the Netherlands. So these three cities are obvious ones to expand into in their respective countries. The company is headquartered in Canada, outside of Toronto (that country’s industrial center) in Markham, and has offices in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, and Belgium. DataMirror also has offices in the United States in the major cities of New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles as well as in Minnetonka, Minnesota (near the Rochester labs) and Irving, Texas (which is outside of Dallas, one of the economic centers of the American southwest). “We are pleased to announce the opening of new offices in Italy and the Netherlands to better allow us to serve our European customers,” explained Stewart Ritchie, senior vice president of worldwide sales at DataMirror. “With a local presence, we are able to improve the level of care we provide to our customers. We can help them to unlock the full potential of their production systems, allowing them to make better business decisions, run smoother operations, win new customers and partners, and increase their bottom line.” RELATED STORIES DataMirror Grows Revenues in Q4, Boosts Bottom Line Even More DataMirror Unveils Transformation Server 6.0 DataMirror Offers Year-End iCluster Deal, Reports Sales and Profits Are Up Hospital Selects DataMirror for OS/400 High Availability DataMirror’s iCluster Improves in Monitoring, Performance DataMirror Claims Top Benchmark for Data Replication
