IntelliChief Signs New Customers, Partner

IntelliChief recently announced the signing of two new customers, including Joy Cone Company and Titan International, to contracts for document management software. The Massachusetts company also signed Desert Spring Consultants to a new partnership deal. Joy Cone is the largest ice cream cone company in North America. The Flagstaff, Arizona, company was founded in 1918, and today makes more than 1.5 billion cones every year, ranging from cake cups to waffle bowls to gluten free sugar cones. Recently Joy Cone sought a solution to automate several processes in its Infor ERP XA (MAPICS) application, and to work toward the elimination of paper-based documents at the same time. Its search led it to IntelliChief and its eponymous content management system, which it dubs the “paperless process management” system. As part of its initial implementation, Joy Cone will use the IntelliChief software to create, capture, process, approve, and store documents used in the purchase-to-pay and order-to-cash processes in its Accounts Payable system. According to IntelliChief, the solution will bring a return on investment (ROI) of 12 months. The IntelliChief implementation at wheel and tire maker Titan International has a different goal: disaster recovery. The company, which recorded $1.5 billion in revenue last year making wheels and tires for a variety of farm, mining, and other off-road vehicles, needed a way to recover its paper documents in the event they were destroyed. After selecting the IntelliChief system, Titan employees began the process of scanning new paper files into the IntelliChief archive. This not only backs up the paper-based documents, but it also enables employees to view the documents right from their ERP screens. Desert Spring Consultants is a Henderson, Nevada, consulting company that specializes in the Infinium software package that’s now owned by Infor. The company provides support, training, and custom development for Infinium customers, including a good number of casinos based in Nevada and California. As a new IntelliChief partner, Desert Spring Consultants will sell the IntelliChief products to its customers. “Our new partnership allows both our organizations to serve the customer base more effectively,” Michael Jasper, IntelliChief’s partner development manager, says in a press release.
