Quadrant and BCD Re-Align Partner Programs

Quadrant Software and its new subsidiary BCD Software last month rolled out a new business partner program that’s aimed at re-aligning the two companies’ formerly separate reseller programs into a single program. One of the benefits that Quadrant cited in its February acquisition of BCD was access to a broader product portfolio for both companies’ reseller channels. Quadrant has a big presence in the document management and fax routing business, with its Formtastic and QuadraDocV offerings, while BCD’s claim to fame is developing IBM i-based Web and mobile apps with its WebSmart platform (although it offers a number of point products as well). Now Quadrant and BCD are going to market with a unified partner program that will provide resellers and distributors with full access to both of the companies’ complete product lines. The unified program is being run by Mike Crowley, who’s been a BCD sales rep for 12 years. As part of the program, resellers will be provided full access to marketing materials for both companies’ products. The companies will also ensure that promotional, training, and demand-generation resources (such as webinars, videos, and whitepapers) are available to partners for the full breadth of products. “We are focused on nurturing mutually beneficial relationships with partners in vertical industries,” Jeff Lovette, Quadrant and BCD’s vice president of worldwide channels and strategic relationships, says in a statement. “A robust business partner program is one way to accomplish this.” RELATED STORY
